Our 10-week online French language course is designed to accommodate adult learners at different stages of their language proficiency from beginners to advanced levels. The class is held once a week, with each session lasting 75 minutes.
With a balanced approach of 40% grammar and 60% conversation, you will build a strong foundation while focusing on speaking naturally and confidently. Each session is crafted to help all students unwind at the end of the day, using authentic expressions and everyday French to make conversations enjoyable and practical. By the end of the course, with small groups of maximum 6 people, you will feel confident engaging in real-life French conversations with ease.

It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and see how our course can be tailored to support your learning, making your experience both effective and enjoyable.
Our online French classes are designed for small groups of just four students, ensuring each person receives personalised attention & immediate feedback from the teacher and plenty of opportunities to speak and practice. Between classes, students are given some homework to practice grammar and terminologies, allowing them to reinforce what they have learned and make steady progress from week to week. This combination focused on small-group interaction creates the ideal environment for effective, lasting language learning.

Who is the course for?
It is for adult learners who cannot speak or read but may be able to recognise a few familiar words and phrases. Learners on this course will build foundational grammar and vocabulary to talk about their hobbies and interest in everyday interactions using standard and authentic French. The course will cover topics like hobbies, travelling, around the house and ordering food in a restaurant.


What will I learn?
This course is a great continuation from the beginner’s course. It is designed for learners who have a grasp of elementary vocabulary and the present tense and would like to specifically improve on the accuracy of their speaking. These classes aim to build upon elementary grammar by guiding students to use proper and more complicated grammatical structures such as learning to conjugate prepositions relative to time and space. E.g. à le début becomes au début – at first. Additionally, the course will help students develop fluency by sequencing and linking sentences with conjunctions using dialogues and role plays exercises within a range of daily topics targeting new vocabulary and grammatical patterns.
What will I learn?
This course is designed for learners who are comfortable with more developed sentence structures using present, past and future & conditional tenses with some errors. It focuses on strengthening accuracy and confidence in spoken French while expanding vocabulary related to everyday situations.
Students will continue to develop their grammatical knowledge by practising more complex sentence patterns, including common prepositions & relative pronouns.
Through guided dialogues, role plays, and structured speaking activities, learners will work on linking ideas more naturally and expressing themselves with greater clarity. The course also introduces learners to a wider range of informal and formal contexts to support more fluid and confident communication.


What will I learn?
This course is designed for learners who can communicate comfortably to some extent in familiar situations and have a working knowledge of present, past, and future tenses. It focuses on increasing fluency and accuracy while introducing more advanced grammatical structures and a broader range of vocabulary. Students will practise expressing opinions, giving explanations about events in a more structured way.
Through discussions, role plays, and guided activities, learners will develop greater confidence in spontaneous communication and improve their ability to interact in both informal and semi-formal contexts. Cultural elements are introduced to support more natural and appropriate use of the language.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to communicate within a larger range of social and everyday situations using present, past and future tenses naturally. You will also learn more complex grammatical structures within various formal and informal cultural contexts. The course will help students refine their cultural understanding of French to a deeper level and for more meaningful exchanges. The course will be delivered entirely in French although main points will be in English.


What will I learn?
You will have full command of using complex grammatical structures and will develop a confident standard of speaking French. There will be interactive classroom activities designed to promote participation, group work and pair work based on a range of authentic cultural, political and current francophone affairs. Learners will also have the opportunity to revise and strengthen key complex grammatical structures to improve accuracy and refine their speaking abilities to a natural level by using authentic terminologies.
